Its cooler but sees the sun all day; there are rarely problems with achieving ripeness. Here, 60 year old vines are planted on white clay soil. The nose is generous and giving, with some spicy reduction and ripe apple fruit. Sbastien describes this as gourmand. Indeed, there is a real drinkability here, with a crisp finish.
